Clash of the Titans

Star Chasers is a science-fiction story set in the far future and takes place over a period of three hundred years. During this time three major events occurred which had a major impact on the fate of the Galaxy. Here, these three stories are told and you can be a part of telling those stories.

The story takes place in our galaxy hundreds of years into the future where humanity has reached the stars and colonies many worlds. Humanity is not alone in the galaxy. There are many alien races, like us and others different. Some are natural, others are not. But they all originated from the same galaxy, the Prime Galaxy, all of them, all except one. One race that is totally different, so completely Alien that not even the races millions of years old know what they are. This story is about humanities place in the Prime Galaxy, how humans were involved in the three major events which created a quarter of millenium of peace, and fought to save the galaxy.

The Star Chasers story is an Open Story Project. While the major incidents, adventures, characters and timeline have been set, you can add to the Story by submitting 'episodes', minor characters, equipment or ship designs, artwork, expanding the tapestry that is the Prime Galaxy. The three major events in Star Chasers, now called stories, are

Restoration : After fifty years imprisoned behind an impenetrable sphere which vanishes as suddenly as it came, five isolated human colonies try to contact the rest of the human race but find destruction and aliens. This last pocket of humanity searches for answers and becomes involved in a rebellion against a powerful empire ruled by a race called the Crok, genetically altered reptilian creatures that have enslaved dozens of races including humans. In a viscous war the last free humans lead the rebellion against the Crok Empire and their armies of genetically enhanced warriors.

Exploration : On the Prime Union's Half-Centenary Anniversary the Council announces a new wave of exploration. Engineer and daughter of ship building magnate Harris Stamford, Chelsea Stamford, her sister Maya and a brilliant team of specialists journey towards the center of the galaxy and beyond in the Star Chaser, a revolutionary starship design. There they become involved in a race of survival with the fate of the galaxy hanging in the balance as they are given the task of stopping an alien race of unknown origin and power.

Annihilation : For three hundred years the Prime Union has experienced peace and growth. All that is shattered when the outer colonies overthrow the administration and begin a war of terrorism against the Council for better conditions and treatment. For the first time in Union history brother is fighting brother, former friends now on opposing sides as the Union tries to stop the Uprising and find out who is behind it. For five years the Uprising rages, ending in a climatic space battle where the true nature of the Uprising is revealed.
